Will Nagoya Castle still be standing?

I will be traveling through Nagoya in early June 2024. I can't find any more specific information other than the castle will be demolished sometime in 2024 for rebuilding. If it is still standing while I am there, I am hoping to check it out. Does anyone have any more information that can help, whether this is still even happening sometime this year?

As other grand projects in Japan these days, the rebuilding of Nagoya's castle keep is being delayed, and the entire schedule is being pushed back. It now looks like the old tower won't be dismanteled for another few years. Probably not until 2026 or 2027.

Only the main keep is being demolished/re-built The other buildings, including the re-built palace, are not going to be touched.
