Unkai Terrace and gondola tickets

Hi, is the unkai terrace connected to any hotel? Where do i buy the gondola tickets at early morning at 4am? Is the tickets counter in the hotel (which hotel?) or the unkai gondola is a building by itself? Appreciate for prompt reply. Thanks,Jin

If you are after Unkai 雲海, I was taken to these two places early July last year, and would really recommend. Hardly any crowd, but need to be there by 04:30 :
*Mokotoyama lookout 藻琴山展望駐車公園 (Koshimizu kōgen 小清水高原)
*Mashuko 摩周湖 第三展望台
