Food to eat Kushiro, June 1-3

Hi, apart from washo market, what are the restaurants or eating places where tourists can patronize and order without knowing Japanese. Are there halal restaurants too? We are not Muslims l, but my father doesn't like to eat pork. Or seafood places that are inexpensive. Thank you.

Most restaurants will have pictures for the food that you're ordering and in most cases, they do have an English menu as well. Of course, it does depend on where you eat, but if you're concerned about eating pork, you can simply just ask and request at the restaurant you don't want to eat any pork.

I would even just search online in places of where you're thinking of eating and check the menu. They should have it in English as well, otherwise you could probably just straight up translate it online.

I think the shops listed in happy cow are vegan friendly, so I think they are halal friendly as well.
