Koyasan Heritage Digital pass

I have a few questions about the Koyasan Heritage Pass in its digital version:
1. Do I need internet access in order to use it or can I have a screenshot of the ticket/code or whatever they provide?
2. I'm travelling with 2 kids and they don't have a mobile phone. Can I have more than one tickets in the same mobile?
3. My mobile is an Android smartphone (not Apple). Any issues with that?

It works with a QR code. Getting the code to your screen may require a connection at one point. You could consider making a screenshot and then use the photo.

It is probably possible, but it will be time consuming and possibly physically difficult for you to go rotate through the various codes and pass the phone forth and back across the ticket gates, and it is likely to cause inconvenience to other travelers at the station and on the bus. In your case, the digital ticket is not the ideal solution. I recommend to go for the paper tickets. Note that kids under the age of 6 travel free.

No.

Also, I also heard that a new digital pass will soon replace the current one, and the system and conditions may change again, but I don't have any details.
