COE processing times

I'm in panic mode.. Applied documents on August, 8. Almost 3 months passed...

I also applied for ssw.. our company applied our coe at Tokyo on August 19,2022 and we are still waiting for the release.

I’m from Philippines too👍🏻 Have u asked your company if they are done with Polo verification? I think they need to have your documents approved first before applying for coe at immigration.

Yes done asking. Polo and poea verified already. Confirm nadin namin kasi naka posting na yung joborder.

I have submitted on June 4th don't know when the company submitted and still waiting I asked my employer they said it will take 1.5 more months my company is based in Aichi.

What is your visa type? My doc submitted on 23rd August and still waiting.

Applied as software engineer in Tokyo, for a small/medium company, on 2nd September; 54 days and counting.
On 14th Oct immigration asked if I’d previously had CoE. (I’d spent some time at language school in Japan on visa waiver, I explained this to my company but I don’t know if they passed it on in the application)

Still no news since then.

My lawyer and HR just get back to me, they submitted the letter of explanation yesterday immediately and they are going to follow up early next week for the progress. And they are looking to probably receive my COE next week cause the immigration reviewing it quite fast. But let’s see. I’m not sure if the company size does affect the speed but it seems it is kind of a case

Since this thread helped me stay calm.

My in-laws received my COE today (Spouse of Japanese national)

It took 58 days.

Just want to say he patient and don't wait for it. It will come.
