Stamp at top of Mt Fuji 2024/7/29 07:51
Hello! My wife and I climbed Mt. Fuji in 2023; unfortunately, by the time we got to the top, the stamp/brand was already shut down. Does anyone have a more clear picture of what the stamp looks like? I'd love to be able to try my best to recreate it, just so we don't have an empty space on our walking sticks. This was the best one I could find: https://www.clubgets.com/fujitozan/img/stamp/contents_img_127.jpg . Thanks!

I'm Japanese, and I climbed to the top of the mountain in 2008 (I got to the 3776m point), but I didn't get my Kongo wooden staff for pilgrims branded on the top.
By the way, I threw away my Kongo wooden staff for pilgrims when I moved.
I don't think it's necessary to re-create the stamp because I think it's only valuable to stamp it on the spot.

Thanks for your response. My wife and I would still like to get a sticker that looks like the stamp as more of a symbol to remind us that we did do it, even if we didn't get the actual brand. It's more of a completion thing.

According to this site, it is written that if you don't have the stamp of the shrine on the top of the mountain, you can't get a stamp of Yamaguchiya.

In the case of this site, it seems like you got a stamp of Yamaguchiya after getting a stamp of Kusushi Shrine.

It seems like there is an English version of the stamp of Yamaguchiya, so maybe it was stamped on your Kongo wooden staff for pilgrims.
