Geiko museum/ dance Kyoto

Unfortunately, the Gion Kagai Art Museum in Kyoto is closed when we visit in a couple of weeks.

Does anyone know of any other ways we can learn about Geiko and Meiko in Kyoto please? And maybe see a performance?

We have created a walking tour around Gion so can do that but wanted to check if theres anything else we can do

Hello, maybe your trip coincides with the Gion Matsuri? It is a dance performance that is held every year between Nov 1 and Nov 10.

Thank you but unfortunately not 😭 The are performances on at Gion Corner so think we will go to that :)

I don't know when it will be a few weeks later, but you can see performances in two Kagai(Hanamachi). (There are five Kagai in total)
