Tottori Sand Dunes 2023/9/8 11:50
Hi,

I'm going to Tottori sand dunes on a weekday in October. I'm a little confused on the public transport. I've read that...

Kururi Bus – DO NOT GO TO Dunes.

Kirin Jishi Loop Bus – Only Weekend & Holiday.

From Tottori Station, take a bus bound for the Tottori Sakyu (鳥取砂丘) and get off at the last stop.

1) Is this the regular bus at bus stop #0 as well?

2) How can can differentiate or know the exact bus that going Dunes? Like bus number?

3) This bus, stops at every bus stop or is it a direct bus?

Thank you for your kind help.

timetable
https://www.torican.jp/lsc/upfile/article/0000/0318/318_d002_file.pdf

you can find bus terminal, when you go out from north exit of JR Tottori station.
go No.0 (zero) bus stop.
take No.39 bus (the destination is Tottori dune).
stop at every bus stop. it takes about 20 min. 380 yen.

Make sure you go see the museum there as well. The artistic work they do with sand is simply breathtaking. I went there a few months ago and this year it is Egyptian themed.
