Shibuya Sky Rooftop Bar set time

We would like to have the "Champagne Set" at the Shibuya Sky rooftop bar on Nov 8, and plan to purchase tickets 28 days in advance.

I can see on the site the entry times, and have read where crowds/queues can delay things

And it looks as though there is an allowance of 20minutes to get in and up to the roof, then 10 minutes to get to the bar area.
eg Shibuya Sky admission time
(16:30-16:50)
Sofa seat usage time
(17:00 to 17:50)

Could I please have some advice as to what we can expect with entry procedures, and timing for ensuring we actually get there and don't miss out?
And how long we can actually be there in total given the couches are for 50 minutes?

We are hoping to take some photos before it gets dark, then have our drinks with sunset to dark, but I'm thinking the photo ops would need to be after our drinks? So book the earliest time? ie 15.30?

Just not sure what time to book, and how long we can actually have there in total.

I too am looking to book the reserved couch seats but the challenge I’m having is booking. I can’t seem to find a way to book using a non-Japanese credit card. Please let me know if you find a site that books not just the observation deck but the reserved seating using a foreign CC.

I played around just now, but had to use Google translate to choose tickets etc even after selecting English in the Language drop down on the first page

I was able to order for a date on September but deleted everything and did not try to pay

I am just assuming it would have taken my Australian Amex?

Webket can only accept credit cards issued in Japan and cards issued by JCB brand.

Following this thread as I too am looking to get tickets for the couch/drinks option and gotten stuck. Even downloaded the Klook app but there it’s only access but no drinks/couch option.

I too have looked at Klook and come to the same conclusion: can only book entry tickets, not the couches.

We have almost given up on the couches and are thinking we shall just book entry tickets and hope to use whatever stand up or whatever "bar" options are available.

It's really sad that it is so hard to organise a special experience with a non Japanese credit card.

This would have been our last night in Japan with our very special friends and we were hoping it would have been rather special. Oh Well. First world problem really.

It looks as though the Webket link info has changed: there is no longer the line about only accepting JCB and Japan issued credit cards

Hopefully we may now be able to reserve as planned 🤞

My mistake everyone who may be following this: they webkit line about credit cards has been moved from the top to the bottom of the info.

For those who may be following:
I have been using "dummy dates" on Klook, exactly 28 days out each time, and the popular times of 3pm-6pm are not ever available.
We have decided to forgo the lounge chairs/champagne option, and go at 10am on our last morning before heading back to the hotel to collect luggage and go to the airport.
Given the inability to book the sofa seats any other way except on the Shibuya Sky site, and only with JCB issued cards, this is rather disappointing.
