Kobe day trip 2024/7/16 17:39
Hello,

I will be coming from Tokushima by bus in August, planning to arrive around 10 30 AM and drop bagagge in Sannomiya.

I've been before to Kobe, just saw Rokko san at night and walked around Sannomiya and China Town. So my main idea is to visit Kitano houses - maybe i could skip it considering I've been to Hakodate and Nagasaki western districts - and Meriken park.

Afterwards go to Koshien to see a baseball game in mid afternoon and come back Sannomiya. So my question is, how long should it take to visit Kitano area ? How about Meriken?

Thank you

It's the Kitano area, but I think it took about three hours, depending on how far you go inside the house.

It's hard to go up the slope from Sannomiya, so it's better to go up the slope by bus (City Loop, etc.) to the Kitano area.

My top recommendation is the Uroko House & Observation Gallery, which was located at the highest point of the slope.

The chairs at Yamate Hachiban-kan are also famous as a power spot.

Weathercock House was visited a long time ago because it was the stage of an NHK drama.
I think it's the most famous building in the Kitano area.
However, it's currently under construction and you can't see the inside.

The Starbucks Coffee is also retro.

I went to Tor Road and stopped by "Kitano Meister Garden", but it's currently under renovation.
The store that was in "Kitano Meister Garden" was relocated to https://kitanokoubou.jp/2024store_relocation_destination/
