Documents needed

Hello. My son changed his visa from dependent to designated visa in japan. And he is planning to go on a vacation in the Philippines. So my question is, what document does he need to present when going out in japan and also in the Philippines? Thank you

If he is in Japan and has a valid residence status, he needs his passport, his residence card and full out a rerntry form at the airport. Go through the immigration for residents.
This is assuming it’s a vacation. Ie less than a year outside of Japan.
