Mount Fuji 5th Station bus in Feb possible?

I will be going to Japan next year from end Jan to mid Feb.
I would like to visit Mt Fuji's 5th station if possible, I know we cannot climb it in winter and have no intention to climb the mountain.
The bus to the 5th station runs outside of climbing periods as well, for tourists to get to the 5th station which is itself already quite high up, but is closed when road is blocked due to snow.
Should I just abandon the idea now, or is it possible it might be running in Feb?
When does it start running, historically based on past years?
I am not very hopeful it will be, but thought I would ask here for good measure.

In recent years, buses are in general running around the year to the Subaru Line 5th Station, but when the road is closed due to snow, the buses don't operate all the way to the 5th Station. It depends on the snow situation.

I've been there twice, but to be honest didn't think it was worth the time and trouble. There is no view, since you're on the mountain. There are some good places to see in the Five Lakes area though.

@Uji If I understand you correctly, you're saying the bus should run in February, provided there is no exceptionally heavy snowfall? So no way to tell in advance, but a day-by-day decision based on road conditions?

@Ken I have already been to Five Lakes, was beautiful, but could not go up the mountain last spring due to road closure. This winter I am actually planning to go to Hokkaido, but thought I would do the one thing I could not do on my last trip, which was a bit disappointing.
It is more of a "bucket list" situation of getting on Mt Fuji - never planned to climb it at least not in the immediate future. If the busses are running it is an easy daytrip from Tokyo, and I also get to see the area in Winter and compare it to the time I was there in Spring.
