Visit Chateau Mercian at Katsunuma

Hi,

We want to visit Chateau Mercian Winery, take their tour and drink wine at their winery. We intend to stay a night at Katsunumacho, and don't intend to drive to the winery because we will drink wine.

What is the best transport option to take from hotel (any where in Katsunumacho) to Chateau Mercian Winery? Is there any bus shuttle services from Chateau Mercian? Or what is the nearest bus stop to Chateau Mercian?

Would taking a taxi be very expensive?

I just checked their website, and they say 8-minute taxi ride from Katsunuma Budou-Kyou station, so that should not be too expensive.

I see a few B & B nearby.

Buses are infrequent.
4 on weekdays, 3 on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
Probably, the bus stop in front of Abe Clinic（Abe Iin Mae,阿部医院前） is the closest.
On weekdays, depending on the time of day, it may arrive earlier if you get on from Enzan Station South Exit Platform 2（Enzan-eki minamiguchi 2ban noriba.塩山駅南口2番のりば）, or if you get on from Katsunuma-Budokyo Station(Katsunuma-Budokyo-eki,勝沼ぶどう郷駅）.
On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, you need to get on from Katsunuma-Budokyo Station.

During the grape season (autumn?), there is a Katsunuma tour bus, but it is not currently running.
By taxi, it costs about 1,500 yen (about 10 minutes) from Katsunuma Budokyo Station.
From Enzan Station, it costs about 2,580 yen (about 20 minutes) by taxi.
