The 66th Kamakura Festival will be held from the second Sunday to the third Sunday of April and on April 14th, there will be a procession(行列巡行). The procession will take place from around 10:00 to 12:00, starting from Geba-Yotsukado(下馬四つ角)and ending at Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine(鶴岡八幡宮). Additionally, during this festival, various events such as Shizumi no Mai (silent dance), Yabusame (horseback archery), and outdoor tea ceremonies will be held, centered around Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine. You can reach the festival from Kamakura Station by walking, and you can use the Yokosuka Line to get to Kamakura Station. Although I haven’t attended this festival personally, Kamakura is generally crowded with tourists, so it would be wise to expect it to be quite busy. The Enoden line is also usually crowded, so it’s expected to be even more crowded on this day. You can also explore around Kamakura on foot or by renting a bicycle. I sometimes take a walk from Kamakura Station to Kita-Kamakura Station, or from Kamakura Station to Hase Station, to explore the area. ★kamakurawelcome.guide https://kamakurawelcome.guide/en/★ 行列巡行information(Japanese) https://air-corporation.jp/563.html★Youtube 行列巡行 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMaSMGMdXWo&pp=ygUb6Y6M5YCJ56Wt44KK44C...
