Inawashiro - Goshikinuma - Kitakata

Hey!

I am planning a trip to Tohoku this fall and am having troubles confirming bus timings for this day on 15 October 2024:

0800 Depart Aizu Wakamatsu to Inawashiro
0900 Explore Inawashiro Lake and town
1000 Bus from Inawashiro to Goshikinuma
1100 Hike and explore Goshikinuma
1300 Bus from Goshikinuma area to Kitakata (for lunch, ideally)

I've checked Toto Bus company site (as linked by Japanguide site) but seems they are no longer operating this local bus route. Google maps links to Aizu Bus company but it seems like the buses only operate at 6am/5pm.

Wondering if there are any other options? Or perhaps if anyone knows if there will be a timetable update closer to fall to increase frequency come autumn peak?

The bus from Inawashiro station（猪苗代駅） leaves at 10:20.

It seems that the bus bound for Kitakata leaves at 15:47 from Goshiki-numa Iriguchi stop（五色沼入口）.

However, there is a possibility that the timetable will change in the fall (around October 1).
