public transport around minakami

I am trying to find any maps or bus route that will help me understand how to transport arounf minakami area for 3 days.
All the hotels i can find are pretty far from any of the main stations (minkamai or jomokogen) and i found this bus route and the 2000 yen deal for 3 days but im not sure exactly what are the stations for this bus route as they do not appear on google maps.

my proposed hotels are all on route 17 which seems to be out of the major bus route but im not sure im reading this correctly.

Any help solving this mystery would be highly appreciated

Any trip in a rural area, rental car is the best option.

thanks kms899, but i am still trying to find out if its possible to get around with busses and not a rental car...
If i cant find any other solution than of course rental car is the next option

Sorry I can't really comment about the bus service, I've only been there once and by rental car, it seem to be much more convenience if you are travel around Kusatsu, minakami and Numata area.
