Hello,
I wonder whether 7 Days from Nagoya heads to Takayama as the base to stay 5-night (near bus/train station) to go a day to Kamikochi, a day to Kurobe Alpine Route, and a day to Shirakawago are doable, and what are the best transportation options either by train/buses and the type of passes to purchase?
Day 1: 9 am arrive in Nagoya and head straight to Takayama for 5 nights. Day 2: Takayama > Kamikochi > Takayama Day 3: Takayama > Kurobe Alpine Route > Takayama Day 4: Takayama > Shirakawago > Takayama Day 5: Takayama > Nagoya

So you're going to Takayama for 5 days and you're barely going to see Takayama *at all*? As said, the Tateyama Alpine Route is just not going to happen. If you're renting a car, things will be much more convenient for you, but you can't drive all the way to Kamikochi. Instead, you might consider the Shin-Hotaka Ropeway, and other sights like the Great Hida Limestone Cave. Shirakawago is the easiest but it only takes a couple of hours to see the place. https://youtu.be/lvtACNNuLUs

Thank you everyone! You are right, the Tateyama Alpine Route is just not going to happen for this round. I should spend more time in Kamikochi.

I visited both Takayama and Kamikochi last October. We wanted to visit Shirakawago on our way from Takayama to Kanazawa, but were a bit too last minute to arrange bus tickets for that and they were sold out. So make sure you reserve your bus tickets in time.
Regarding Kamikochi, you could also consider spending a night at an onsen nearby, either before or after visiting Kamikochi. We stayed one night at Hirayu no Mori in a little forest cottage after visiting Kamikochi, enjoyed the onsen, and were convienently close to the bus transfer between Takayama and Kamkochi.
