Koyo light up Kyoto 2024

Just wondering when the locations/dates/times etc for this year's Koyo light up may be released?

We would love to show our friends Kodaiji for evening light up (that bamboo grove is other worldly!)

We are in Kyoto October 27 to Nov 2 inclusive: it may be a bit early?

It depends on the spot. Some are very early, others announce it quite late.

Some have already announced it:
Kiyomizudera: November 18-30
Eikando: November 11 to December 1

Kodaiji is also among the early announcers, but the 2024 autum dates have not been published on their website yet.

We are still hoping Kodaiji might be open for us before we leave Kyoto on Nov 3: fingers crossed.

Looks like Kodiaji "light up" this autumn is from Oct 25 to Dec 15th 2024.
