Is Kofukuji Temple closed for reconstruction?

Is Kofukuji Temple totally closed and impossible to se anything and the place can be skipped from Nara day walk or still exists places for visit in side and around?

I understand that only the 5-storied pagoda is currently being renovated and being covered up. And the eastern hall is currently closed. But the central hall, the museum and the general grounds are open.
