Bus to Kawagoe Antique Market 2017/9/11 05:14
Interested in visiting Kawagoe Antique Market in November by purchasing the Tobu Discount Pass covering train ride for 700 plus discount at shops. I understand that the market is held at the Narita San Betsuin. The train will stop at Kawagoe Station and Kawagoeshi Station. Which station is better to exit? Should we then take a bus to the market site since walk involves about 20 min.? Tobu also offers for 950 yen train ride plus bus rides. We are not interested in visiting other sites but primarily wish to shop at the antique market.

Thank you for your help.

Walking is okay.
It is an 18 minute walk from Kawagoe-shi station of Tobu Tojo Line.
It is a 14-minute walk from Honkawagoe station on the Seibu Shinjuku line.
It is a 23-minute walk from Tobu Tojo Line and JR Kawagoe Station.
(I looked it up on Google map)
I have not been to Narita San Betsuin, but I walked from JR Kawagoe Station to Kashiya-yocho. On the way home I returned from Honkawagoe station.
Narita San Betsuin is closer than Kashiya-yocho.
In the case of the Tobu Tojo Line, the Kawagoe-shi Station is closer.
However, Kawagoe station has a large proportion of trains at the end point.
When walking from Kawagoe station, you can see many shops including Maruhiro Department Store.
However, there was quite a distance.
The road is flat, it is easy to walk.
I have never used it, but there seems to be bicycle sharing.
You need to change your bicycle within 40 minutes.
