Is Minshuku Marutoya in Unzen closed?

I have been attempting to make a reservation at Minshuku Marutoya (next to Kojigoku Onsen) at Unzen for mid October. I understand that it may be temporarily or permanently closed.

Is anyone able to advise if it is closed and/or whether it is likely to be open in October?

Thanks Uco, I sent the Unzen tourist office a couple of messages on their website form, and they didn't respond. I even asked the Shimabara TO, but they again directed me to the UTO. I rang the Unzen tourist office, and understood that Marutoya is closed at the moment, but because of my poor language skills I was unable to be sure of the clarity of my question regarding the future opening of Marutoya. The UTO's English was way better than my Japanese, and they worked hard to help me, but I remain unsure.

I'll proceed to look at other options, assuming that it is closed.
