COE processing times

to be honest I don't think it really make a difference to ask about which date a red the immigration are still processing and it's useless. Because like my situation right now, my company apply coe for me on the 20th May 2024 but I see a lot of people from this thready, which the date is ahead of me already receive their coe and fact is the same immigration which is osaka and the same type of visa which is Engineering /Humanities. Thus why it's useless to ask which date are they working right now it's because....

I also try to have a high hopes and put my expectations high but it's all futile :(

I wanted to share my experience regarding my Certificate of Eligibility (COE) application submitted on July 4, 2024. It has been almost three months, and I'm still awaiting a response from Tokyo immigration. If anyone has insights or similar experiences, I would appreciate your input.

I applied on june 26 its been more then 3 months!!! Why osaka immigration output is slower then tortoise!!! This really really is shameeeeeeee

Nationality:- Bangladeshi
company- Export from Japan Car & Heavy equipment
My company owner want me as a manager
Then he sponsored and applied for COE
I didn't know company is in which category

April 28 applied and still waiting
Engineer, tokyo immigration

Applied june 7th and still waiting
SSW visa, Sapporo immigration

He says tokyo immigration taking 4 months on engineer/humanities

I got mine!

Reading the comments I was horrified that some people are waiting even half a year.
I was surprised that my COE was issued in less than 2 months.

Does anyone here actually get their coe from osaka immigration like 6 to 7 months for engineering /Humanities Visa?

Hey, just wanted to ask people who applied for work-related COE. Did your employer extend your deadline because of this whole situation? Because I'm really worried about what should I do if my employer doesn't. Will I still be able to get the visa and probably start job hunting again but in Japan? Or the COE application is dismissed in that case?
