Walking to Nunobiki Herb Garden 2024/8/6 16:24
So I am also planning a day-trip in Kobe and is looking to go to the Nunobiki Falls and the Herb Garden. I am trying to get a ticket for admission into the Nunobiki Herb Garden. Unfortunately, I am unable to find a website which sells a ticket for the ropeway and the admission into the garden on the day which I plan to go because apparently from the website (Klook, KKDay etc) the ropeway will be closed on that day.

So I like to ask if, there is a alternative path up to the Herb Garden and will there be a spot which sells just the admission ticket into the Herb Garden?

https://www.kobeherb.com/infomation/hours_fare/

ロープウェイ設備点検のため、9/2(月)〜5(木)の4日間運休・休園を予定しております。

We will be closed for 4 days from 9/2 (Mon.) to 9/5 (Thu.) for equipment inspection.

Since they say 休園 you can’t enter the garden for these 4 days.

You can walk from Shin Kobe Station to Nunobiki Herb Garden via Nunobiki Waterfall as is shown below:

It's a good place, but not that overwhelmingly popular. You should be able to go buy a ticket right there. It's also not far from Shin-Kobe Station, so if you take the bullet train there, you can get there quickly. I suggest you do go on a weekday though, for fewer people.
