Teppanyaki Dining Experience in Kobe? 2024/8/14 22:54
My wife and I wish to experience a Kobe Beef, Prawns & Vegetables Teppanyaki Dining experience in Kobe this October.

We are impressed with the UTUBE video posted be 'Dancing Bacons' showing Chef Ina in action at the Restaurant ROYAL MOURIYA. Video title: "The Cheapest Kobe Beef Teppanyaki in Japan"

Before paying up front as part of their Reservation Procedure, we would like to know of other Teppanyaki restaurants in Kobe that we could consider.

To see a Master Chef like Ina in action, showing precision with cooking utensils will be fantastic to watch. BTW In a reply to my email enquiry, Chef Ina has retired .
(No utensils - juggling cooks required - we've seen such a show on a MSC Cruise ship.)

Any restaurant suggestions with websites will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any responses.

Though I have never been there, Sazanka in Hotel Okura Kobe seems to be very nice. This steakhouse is on the 35th floor of the hotel so you can enjoy beautiful landscape of Kobe port.

If you want to dine here you may better become a member for "One harmony" to earn 10% discount.

Select Hotel Okura Kobe for "Premium Selection". I had lunch at their Chinese restaurant and received 10% discount.

Thanks again frog1954. I have looked at the links you gave me and what Royal Mouri do, and we are now thinking that, because we are not frequent meat eaters, we are loosing interest in shelling out serious money for such a Teppankaki experience.
Cheers

Honestly I think Kobe beef is overrated. You may better consider cheapest set meal (still it will be around 5000 yen) for lunch at Sazanka (this is not Kobe beef) or Chinese lunch at Toukarin in Hotel Okura Kobe.
