Takayama hokuriku pass for Shirakawago bus

Trying to make online bus booking from Kanazawa to Shirakawago on 16 October 2024.

The website requires us to provide credit card details before we can proceed with Payment.
Where do we specify that we will be using our Takayama Hokuriku Area Pass(\19800-5days) ?

We have bought the pass but can only exchange and activate it when we arrive in Japan in early October.

There seems to be no way to book your bus without payment.
(The bus companies are not the issuers of this tourist pass.)

You either
receive your tourist pass,
then visit a bus ticket counter,
and book your bus (presenting your pass),
or,
book your bus ride through the website with your credit card,
then receive your tourist pass,
then visit a bus ticket counter,
cancel the booking (presenting the same credit card),
and rebook your bus (presenting your pass).

That day is a typical weekday.
I suppose buses between Kanazawa and Shirakawa-go would not get fully booked fast for that day.
