You have to make sure your timing is right if you go to the Park. You need to go when the flowers are really blooming, ideally at their peak. If you just go there whenever, like between when the flowers they have are in bloom, you are likely going to be mostly disappointed. I went to see the nemophila before, and in normal years would have looked great, but that year spring jumped the gun and started about 10 days earlier, so I got a waning and rather bland looking scenery.
