I plan to travel to Dakigaeri valley on Nov 1 or Nov 2, 2022 from Kakunodate station. Is there any shuttle bus to there? If not, how to go to Dakigarei valley? Thank you.

Thank you! From what I understand, to make a reservation for shared taxi, I have to call the number 07070516172, or make a reservation via Tohoku mass web, right? Is it possible to reserve if I cannot speak Japanese?

Unfortunately, after checking with the person in charge of tourism in Semboku City, I learned that Yobunoru Kakunodate is not available to foreign visitors to Japan. (The reason is that the two-factor authentication system does not support it.) So you will have to use regular taxis. Taxi fare is about 3,720 yen. (Prices are subject to change due to traffic jams, accidents, etc.) https://www.its-mo.com/taxi/?getin=%E6%8A%B1%E8%BF%94%E3%82%8A%E6%B8%9... %A7%92%E9%A4%A8%E9%A7%85_142520070_506067990 The tourist information center in Kakunodate has part-time staff who speak English. Try asking that person for a taxi over the phone. https://tic.jnto.go.jp/eng/detail.php?id=1036

In 2012, there seems to have been a shuttle bus during the fall foliage season. If you use Yupopo, you need a reservation, but there is a free shuttle bus to there. https://www.warabi.or.jp/?page_id=4615I have emailed the tourist information center in Kakunodate to ask if they would like to reserve Yobunoru Kakunodate instead, but have yet to receive a response.

When I checked with the Tazawako Tourist Information Center, I discovered that there was a shuttle bus from Tazawako Station to Dakigaeri Gorge. It is 1300 yen one way until November 6th. https://tazawako-kakunodate.com/en/events/174Reservations can also be made by e-mailing the tourist information center at the address below. Some staff can speak English. Reservations must be made at least 1 hour before boarding. https://tic.jnto.go.jp/eng/detail.php?id=1037Yobunoru Kakunodate cannot be used because the passenger must make a reservation.
