Kyoto to Nara Deer Park Kintetsu Vista Car

Hello,

We want to go from KYOTO STATION to NARA DEER PARK, which is the fastest and offers the most time slots? How and where do I purchase the tickets? If I just buy the LIMITED EXPRESS FARE and use with my IC card, how do I pass gate? Touch IC CARD and insert LIMITED TICKET? Or just touch IC CARD? Thanks.

The twice hourly limited express trains by Kintetsu are the most frequent, fast connections. The other options are explained here:

If you ride on a Kintetsu limited express train, you can pay the base fare with your IC card at the automatic ticket gate, and need to purchase the limited express fee (together with a seat reservation) separately. This can be done online (https://www.ticket.kintetsu.co.jp/vs/en/e-ticket/), at ticket machines or at the manned ticket counter.

The Aoniyoshi is simply a special train set, and costs an additional 210 yen, which are paid together with the limited express fee:

Thanks. Seems like the Aoniyoshi's time schedule is very limited per day. (i.e. First train from Kyoto to Nara, is 11AM).
