USJ Halloween worth it?

so I’m going to Japan mid oct (Osaka 3 nights but including day trip to Nara & one in Kyoto)

I wasn’t going to do USJ as I’ve read it’s very busy, you only get on a handful of rides and just isn’t worth it. But I am a fan of Halloween and will be in Osaka for Halloween time when I think they have scares, Halloween entertainment etc…

To go or not to go ??

I was at USJ last week. They had already started the Halloween stuff.

As I left around 4:30pm. Many visitors were entering in costumes.

And yes USJ is busy. I went last Thursday. It's busy like major train stations. Still easy enough to walk around. Shops get shoulder to shoulder though.

Most rides averaged 90 minute waits. We didn't bother with any.
