Hotels with in-house coin laundry in Sapporo

We are planning to go to Sapporo for the snow festival next year. Wondering if anyone has any recommendations for places close to Odori Park and ideally connected to the underground shopping streets (Aurora/Pole town). I am specifically trying to find places that have in-house coin laundry. Unfortunately, the usual chain that I look for seem to be sold out for this period. Any recommendations and your past experiences are appreciated! Thanks

It may be too early to reserve. Check the policy of your gusualh chain.

Maybe try Dormy Inn Premium Sapporo or Tokyu Stay Sapporo Odori? They are both showing up as available on Rakutenfs Japanese site for the first five nights of the festival (I didnft check beyond that). They are reliable chains and both properties are close to Odori Koen but I donft know about the shopping streets. There are quite a few other hotels near the park with vacancy as well. You might have to settle for a small room, and even then might have to pay a pretty high price for it. I donft particularly recommend booking on a Japanese-language web site if you canft read Japanese (there are some possible pitfalls, and I donft think you can rely on translation apps, especially in a situation where you could be in real trouble if something goes wrong.) But if this many hotels are showing up on Rakuten, you can probably find them on a site such as booking dot com, or possibly Rakutenfs English site. I would grab something soon if you can make a cancellable reservation. Many hotels in Japan still have a one- or two-day free cancellation window, although in recent years an increasing number are starting to extend their windows, so you really want to check.
These days, a large number of hotels in Japan have coin laundry facilities. It used to be you generally only found those at gbudgeth hotels, but in recent years many midlevel hotels have started to feature them.
