Getting to Lake Akan Hakuryu Shrine in winter

Hello everyone ^^
Does anyone have experience getting to Lake Akan Hakuryu Shrine 白龍神社 on ヤイタイ島, islet in Lake Akan, Kushiro during winter?
I would like to visit the shrine some time in Late February 2024 but not sure how to get there.
Read that it is either to walk the frozen lake at own risk or through snowmobile which i'm not sure where is the boarding point.
Hoping that someone could advise.
