Work permit waiting time? (dependent visa)

Hi,
does anybody have experiences to share about how long it takes for the Work Permit to be permitted on a Dependent Visa?
We have been waiting for almost three months now. (also sent in additional paperwork on our own about job offers that are waiting for us)
Initially we were told about it only taking 2 weeks.

There is a separate thread already on this topic of people waiting for their COE. You just need to wait. No one knows the answer as immigration is backed up from all of the applicants.

The OP was asking about a work permit “separate” from the resident status/visa itself.

Usually it is said “a few weeks up to two months” for that to be issued, so I admit it is taking a bit longer than average, but we all know that the immigration authorities are quick busy…

Yes, this is about only the Work Permit permission process, not the visa or CoE process.

I was just hoping there are people who could share their waiting time, or if they had to hand in additional documents, or if providing Immigration with job offer documents, if that had any influence over the waiting time, etc.
