Restaurants in Mt Yoshino during summer

Are shops and restaurants (esp the tofu restaurants) open in summer during week days in Mt Yoshino ?
I am refering to the busy trip of shops before Kimpsen-ji as one goes up hill.

during the day maybe, but please be warned that in the evening the place pretty much closes up everything.
btw, i didnt see much tofo shops there at all? are you sure it is a specialty there?
