Reserve seats to gala yuzawa

I am trying to reserve seats online for shinkansen between tokyo and gala yuzawa. However, there were no results when i typed gala yuzawa. Can anyone advise?

The station isn’t operated all year round. So maybe you searched fit s time when it is closed?

Or started searching more than one month in advance before services begin.

i had this same problem when i was booking shinkansen tickets to yuzawa from tokyo last week - the english station name won't appear but the japanese name (i think i used 湯沢越後) will work!

Are 2 different stations.
Echigo Yuzawa is a normal Shinkansen station operated year round. Gala Yuzawa is very close from Echigo Yuzawa , also a Shinkansen station but operated only seasonally.

Sorry this should be 越後湯沢 not 湯沢越後

The seasonal train stopping at Gala-Yuzawa Station will be in operation from Sat, the 17th of this month.

The search for Japanese web pages of JR-East showed them no problems.

thank you for the replies, otherwise I would not have been able to reserve a seat on a train to Gala Yuzawa (actually we chose the stop Echigo-Yuzawa). Hopefully the English website of the JRPass system can be improved soon.
