We are planning to book an onsen in Hirayu November 26th. We will be coming from Takayama Old Town. We are worried if there will be transportation during those time. I checked the Nohi Bus website this is the bus servicing between Takayama Old Town and Hirayu and it says that service is open until November 30th. However, I am a bit worried if this is reliable. We plan to travel back to Nagoya by November 27th and our flight back to our country is on the 29th. Would this be a safe option? I do not see other transport to Nagoya except for Nohi bus.
We plan to book an onsen ahead of time but wanted to make sure about the transportation. Hope you guys can provide some insight. Thank you.

This is just from general personal experience travelling in Japan, not knowledge of the particular route, but I wouldn't worry. The website seems very well organised, and public transport in Japan is so good that if it says it will turn up then it almost certainly will.
I guess if it looks like there will be unusually extreme weather, then you could consider changing your plans at the last minute if you think there is a risk of being stranded.
Outside of that, worst case scenario, if the bus doesn't turn up, then I'm sure the staff at your accommodation will be happy to call a taxi - you aren't a million miles away from a train station and have left plenty of time to get back to Nagoya.
Enjoy your trip, and remember that sometimes the best bits of a holiday are when things don't exactly go to plan!

I think the website does not say anything after December 1st. Normally the buses will run after Dec. 1, but the timetable is not announced yet.
However, I am a bit worried if this is reliable. We plan to travel back to Nagoya by November 27th and our flight back to our country is on the 29th. Would this be a safe option? I do not see other transport to Nagoya except for Nohi bus.
As said, it is quite unlikely that the bus will be cancelled. I think there is no direct bus from Hirayu Onsen to Nagoya. You will go first to Takayama and then to Nagoya. From Takayama you can also take JR train to Nagoya.
