I just received news from my company, and my COE got issued. It’s only took 2 weeks, I wasn’t expected the process going so fast !

COE type: Ginou (Skilled Labor) as Sports instructor
Aplication through internet
Company caterory : 1
Application date: 11th september 2024
Application office: Tokyo Immigration
Nationality: France
Status : 25th september 2024.

I will now start the process with embassy to get the visa. I wish you all good luck for your COE process. 🙏

COE type: Engineering/Humanities
Nationality : South East Asia country
Application date: 28th June 2024
Application office: Tokyo Immigration
Status : Tokyo immigration mentioned screening is completed and will send our result by post on next week

Still not sure the result but at least screening is over! Will update again 🙏

Just an additional for my thread above, I have also apply dependent visa for my spouse on the same day, and both of our visa were done screening on 25th Sep.

Now just have to wait for the result by post 🙏

I am not sure about other prefecture but our visas were applied through Tokyo immigration.

Application submitted on 28th June at the counter.
Our agent checked the status by phone this morning and being told both visas were completed screening (documents checking) on yesterday 25th Sep, which is 3 months after our application.

Tokyo immigration could not announce visa result by phone, they just mentioned result will be sending out by postage mail on next week, so we could only know whether our visa is approved or rejected once received the postage mail

Status : until last week the company said still waiting
Not sure about the company category

That's strange, usually if they sending you that means it's approved.... Correct me if I'm wrong because like someone else on this thread how can they know their coe have been approved if the result is not by phone lol... I'm confused haha

Status :- Received Sep 28 via mail
