Use Northern Kyushu Pass to Usuki Station?

when i saw a map of area that northern kyushu pass can use in https://www.jrkyushu.co.jp/english/railpass.html, is it cover usuki station? I think it cover but in japan-guide it said not cover.

Usuki is NOT covered by the Northern Kyushu Pass. That fact is also reflected by the map on the page you linked. Usuki is not shown on the map, but it is located along the line that connects Oita and Miyazaki. As you can see, that line is not covered by the Northern Kyushu Pass south of Oita.

Not cover that mean I must pay in addition to go to Usuki Station. Thank you for answer.. I will think again that I will go there or not because local train to go there its cost about 740 yen for one way.
