When to expect winter in Urabandai?

Planning for a possible visit to Urabandai. When is the winter with snow and ice turning up in that part of Japan?

They say it snows from mid-November to mid-April.

I think I passed through when I went to the ski resort in Grandeco from Inawashiro.
It wasn't sunny, so the Goshiki-numa I saw from the bus wasn't blue.
If you are not used to snowy roads, I recommend you to travel by bus.
